The Service Provisioning Analyst is responsible for managing and executing the work intake process for servers, shared databases; maintaining support options and process integrity. This role is customer facing and requires solid coordination, organization, communication and negotiation skills. Partners with multiple teams (i.e., DCA, DMI) to ensure delivery of appropriate systems and functionality.

Job Responbsibilities:

  • Processes requests for server and shared database service hosting’s: includes hosting options, coordinator between customer and DCA/DMI build processes
  • Manage high volume of incoming requests: required to manage the requests from creating initial Remedy case through follow up until service moves to production mode or decommissioned
  • Uses metrics to measure and improve work processes and service delivery experience
  • Identifies and implements process improvements
  • Provides process expertise to enable process integration and standardization
  • Liaises with Data Center Assets and adjacent support and delivery teams to ensure work process are followed and completed per Remedy Workflow mappings

Role Requirements:

  • At least three years of work experience with working knowledge in the following technologies or application areas: Windows, Remedy system or a similar change management tool, IIS (Web Sites)
  • Technical aptitude on server infrastructure
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills - written and presentation/oral
  • Strong coordination skills
  • Process improvement experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, MIS, or other related degree
  • UNIX, WINS & DNS Management, Messaging (Exchange 2003 or newer), Oracle Database, SMS, Monitoring tools/applications (SCOM), RCA & incident reporting, Technical writing (technical processes and procedures), SiteMinder, F5, Change Incident and Release Management, Windows Security & Compliance
  • Cloud understanding beneficial
